Enterprise SONiC Distribution for Campus AsterNOS-V5.2R016

2026 Q1 release for Campus AsterNOS is now ready !

We have accomplished a lot in Q1. Built on SAI 1.6.3 and FRR 8.2.2, AsterNOS-V5.2R016 introduces a wide range of new features, including but not limited to the following:

New Features:

  • Support for the switch acting as a GM in PTP scenarios and interfacing with RU devices
  • Enhanced QinQ transparency and outer VLAN stripping capability
  • Support for learning remote MAC addresses over static L2 VXLAN tunnels
  • Support for IP SLA-based link flapping (link state change) detection
  • Support for configuration rollback capability
  • Support for uRPF, including strict mode and loose mode
