We, Asterfusion, are excited to announce that the 2025 Q4 release for Campus AsterNOS is now available!

AsterNOS-V5.2R015 introduces the following new features:

New Features:

  • Support PIM Dynamic RP
  • Support time synchronization through GNSS interface as PTP GM
  • Support global ACL
  • Support VLAN pool, with VLAN pool name authorized after authentication
  • Support VLAN-based packet count statistics
  • Support STP/RSTP/MSTP
  • New enhanced features for DHCP and DHCPv6
  • New Models: CX306P-48Y, CX204P-16Y, CX104S-8MT24GT
  • Additional advanced features

Love the new features and bug fix for dot1x, when can we expect functionality for DHCPv6 and SLAAC?

padams@wirestar.net Good to let you know that this version features enhanced support for both DHCPv6 and SLAAC. Details on SLAAC are available in the L3 Switching → IPv6 Router Advertisement section of the Release Note.

For SLAAC, the following configurations are now supported:

  • Set M/O/A/L flags
  • Set prefix
  • Set route information
  • Set DNS
  • Set MTU
